Brief History: Dana Scully was born on February 23, 1964 into a Catholic family which strongly believed in the practice of faith. She attended college at the University of Maryland and majored in physics before going on to medical school, and then on to work for the FBI. When she began working with Agent Mulder she kept up her work as a forensic pathologist where she conducted and performed autopsies on victims, sometimes which appeared to be of a descent that wasn't entirely human. Through her years working with Mulder and under the careful scrutiny of the FBI, Scully found herself in positions of ridicule, controversy, and sometimes outright danger, faced with the complicated task of explaining phenomena in the world which she never would have believed to be true.
